Has anyone had trouble getting their DVC AP discount when purchasing their AP in WDW? I'm assuming all you need is ID and your member card.

I am on the boards nearly every day (yes, I need a life, LOL) and haven't seen any reports of trouble.

There have been a few reports (mine included) of trouble using the website to order online. I finally gave up on the website and called MS to order my DVC AP - got a very nice CM and it was relatively quick and easy to order the voucher form MS. Took about a week to arrive in the mail.

Best wishes -

I have ordered one online so I can book a resort room at AP rate and save on points at dvc. I am hoping to purchase the rest upon ar :confused3 rival at EPCOT international Gateway I hope this is possible. ?

Yes - you can purchase a DVC-discounted AP/PAP from the ticket booths near the International Gateway. Of course you already know that you'll need your blue membership card and a photo ID.

You can also exchange your voucher that you got online there - you'll need to show same items as you do to purchase.

Just last week I purchased an annual pass for my daughter at MK guest services. I showed the CM my DVC card and both our driver's licenses to prove that her legal residence was the same as mine. There was no problem getting the discount, and I used my Disney Card Reward Points so it was "free." I pay off my card each month so I guess it really was free. :cool1:

it is also my undestanding that if ap rates ever come out you can just book the room and show them the card when you have it. we are not using the best rate plan, and maybe not the ap rates if the dont ever come out, but that is what a cm told me, just show the ap at check in.

We purchased ours at Guest Services in Downtown Disney. No problem at all. I was asked for ID and My DVC ID. Very Easy.

Great. We'll wait and purchase it when we get there next month.
Thanks everyone!
