Purchasing annual passes

I hope this is the correct thread. We are thinking about buying annual passes since we have two trips planned this year. Does the AP base ticket include park hopping? is it best to purchase the passes at the park? Thank you.

1. Yes.

2. Doesn't matter.
You can also do so on-line or over the phone. (You'll get a confirmation number and
the AP will not be activated until you specifically do so at WDW.)

If one of your trips would be during free dining, buy tickets as part of your package so you can get free dining, then upgrade to an AP at a ticket booth. Otherwise it's fine to do them online!

Only for certain "Florida Resident" APs.

Only black out dates with seasonal passes. There's a breakdown on the Disney website

AAA or Ticketsatwork are options for a discount if you want to buy ahead of time.

Thanks everyone! I had not thought about the AAA offices for annual passes. Even a few dollars would help! Hopefully we can purchase before the next price increase
