Purchased points ?

I just bought 17 extra points through member services to complete my reservation for Oct.

Now I may have to cancel and book somewhere else because I need another studio.

Do I get to keep those points or what happens with them.

Those points are yours and they will stay in your account if you cancel the reservation that they were purchased for. They will expire at the end of the UY of the reservation they were originally purchased for if they remain unused.
