Purchased direct- when will I get membership card?

So we purchased a contract at CCV last month direct and haven't received our membership cards. We just got a package in the mail a couple of days ago with a small white box that had some info about our contract and the DVC Member magnets. I expected the cards to be in there but they weren't.

When should we expect the membership cards to arrive?

You have to go to the DVC website and request a card.

Also cards are processed by an outside company who does them in batches. It may be awhile until their minimum run is made.

In the mean time, Disney encourages you to take a screen shot of the card and use it on your phone. (if you have a smart phone)
