I read somewhere that it was cheaper to purchase room only packages and then purchase tickets. We also want the dining plan, which on the web-site you cant purchase unless you get the vacation package. My question is...can you add the meal plan when you check in? If you do, is it the regular prices of $37.99 per adult per day and 9.99 per kid per day? Does anyone know? When I add room, tickets and dining plan separately, there is about a $300.00 difference (less) than if I buy a vacation package. I don't use the extras with the Magic Your Way, like the Planet Hollywook meal voucher, etc. I'm just trying to find the least expensive way to go!

You don't have to buy a whole package to get the dinning plan. For us, we bought our tickets last year before the prices adjusted. So we bought 2, 1 for each of us, one day base tickets so that we can have the meal plan for our whole stay.

I think you can add the dining plan up to 3 days before your trip, but I'm not positive.

You need to buy the package with at least a one day base ticket in order to get the dining plan.
