Disneynan, We'll be wearing our Tiki Mickey outfits to Ohana too! We'll be there on 9/25. How about you?
For the question, I bought a
lot of summer/tropical things on clearance last fall to wear on our January cruise. I felt weird about buying so many new things for a vacation, but I love that we look so terrific in our pictures from the cruise! And it's been great to have nicer things to wear this summer. And now we can wear them again when we go to Disney on our last minute "
free dining/Southwest air deal" trip!!
I've picked up some more things for this trip, too, mostly on Disneydirect. I got the cheap cheap cheap Tiki outfits for the whole family, and I got the kids disney-themed swimsuits and matching towels. I won't unveil any of these things until we are on vacation, and I'm planning on treating them like souvenirs of the trip to hopefully cut down souvenir begging by the kids. We'll see how well that works.

I'm also making a couple sets of matching T-shirts for us to wear--one for a park day and one for
MNSSHP. Do those count as new clothes?
So the answer -- I went totally crazy buying stuff for the first "real" vacation we took as a family (the cruise), and I've only been mildly crazy for the second one. Think there's a chance I could be sane for the third one? Not as long as there are clearance racks, outlet malls and end of season sales.
