We have had our little guy for 13 months now. We actually got him when he was 4 months old, so looking at these little ones makes me want one as soon as they are able to leave mommy!

Our little guy was breed as a miniture, so he is smaller than most of the other Shiba's we have seen. Most people think he's a husky puppy.

Also found on that site a webcam for the Shiba Inu's big cousin - the Akita. A litter of 7 pups, older and more active. They are big ol' fur balls.

They are up and active. Well for the most part they are. The one is zonked out.

Does anyone know where they are? It looks like a closet and apparently they aren't allowed to leave that bed. It seems not very nice to keep them on one bed. They don't seem to be able to move much. Of course, I've never owned a puppy so maybe I'm being overly critical.

it's a special whelping pen. I don't think puppies need more at this point, but I am no expert either. The mom can come and go, but the puppies stay safe inside.

If it is like last year, it is in the middle of one of the rooms near the sliding glass doors. Later, they will use a gated pen and you will be able to see that it is in a larger room!
