Pumpkins and Pirates and Cowboys... Oh my! Our dream Disney TR!

How exciting! Your trip is coming up so fast.

I don't know about pieces of eight, but they do have the cursed Aztec gold coin necklace.:thumbsup2

OOOHHH that could work too :goodvibes

I am so jealous that you got to see them! I wanted to go but seeing that it was the night before my brother's wedding, I thought it was better not to go. I still have a thing for Jordan. :cloud9:

I still have a thing for Joey....They all have aged very well!;) I have to say.... The coolest concert thing I have ever seen is all 35,000 people at a concert up and waving their hands in the air to Hangin' Tough. It gave me goosebumps... I am half tempted to see them in Providence.

I can't believe your trip is just around the corner! I am so excited for you both.

I am excited too... I have a small tear off countdown calendar on my desk and I looked down and got all excited!!!!

How exciting that you started packing!!!! I think I'll start Liam's packing later this week because the next few weeks are going to fly by.

Yeah, it is the busy season at work, so it puts me in the vacation frame of mind!

What she said. ;)
I saw the cursed Aztec gold necklaces ALL OVER THE PLACE!

hmmmmm I may just have to get one of those... I can only imagine my photos with Captian Jack!

Ok so this is a bit of a rant post.....

We got a travel agent, because I 1) never planned a trip on this scale before and 2) stress triggers the Colitis.

I was better off doing this for myself. First, DF and I haven't been able to reach them for 3 WEEKS! In this time, Disney can't too and calls us and has us change our flight. I start calling once a day for a week and then picked up the pace this week and left numerous messages with my phone number. Two days ago he called unhappy saying he tried to call me but there was no answer and when I mentioned I hadn't heard from him, he told me very angrilly that I gave him the wrong number. We arrainged to get together and get the paperwork. DF would meet him and get it, and yesterday that happened.

I get home from work and grab the cool package and run into the bedroom where DF is and flip through it..... to see no Magical Express stuff.

Disney said they mailed it on SEPTEMBER 5, 2008, and DF told me that the TA said that that was all they had.

So I called and the TA's wife, also a TA picked up the phone. After explaining the situation, the TA's wife said, "they are just luggage tags, you can go without them."

That was when I LOST it. I am usually a patient person... But work has been tough, I am planning a wedding and this going on is not good for my health.

She said she would check into it, and call me back today. Do you think she is going to call back. I don't think so.

I will keep you updated....

Question for the people in MA : Is there a Magical express keyosk at Logan? I am trying to figure out what to do in the event of the luggage tags not making it!

I am so sorry this is causing you more stress.

I do not believe there is a ME kiosk at Logan. I think you will have to check your luggage and then pick it up yourself to bring to the ME bus.

No, the Magical Express kiosk is in Orlando. The ME desks aren't located in the departure airports. They identify the ME tags when they unload your luggage from the plane at MCO (Orlando) and that is how it gets to the right resort.

In your case, if you don't get the tags in time, you'll need to get your luggage from the baggage carrousel as usual and bring it with you to the ME desk.

LL was right on her post on the LapuLapuette thread, though - you won't have to wait for your luggage to be delivered either!

:sad2: Thats what I thought....

LL is right on that point! I wouldn't have to worry about my luggage being 3 hours!

Wonderful itinerary! I am so excited that you are going to Liberty Tree Tavern on your MNSSHP. I saw online, that the characters have Halloween costumes on during MNSSHP nights! What fun! I was bummed that Crystal Palace didn't do that. But maybe they only do it after MNSSHP starts? Hmmmm. :confused3

Maybe, I hope they have on their costumes!!!

I think it is good....and I am especially excited now that I am hearing how much you loved lots of the places we are going, LL!

And remember that if your room isn't ready when you check-in just give your luggage to bell services. They will give you a claim ticket/or you can have them deliver it once you are in your room.

We're gonna miss each other at the airport by about an hour. :headache:

We can't wait.... DF bought me Realityland and a bunch of disney short cartoons to put on my Ipod for the flight! I am really excited about Coral Reef and the personalized menu!

I am so frustrated for you! At least you'll know next time, you can plan it yourself, and not have these worries.

There will be a next time, right? ;) I know, I know, planning a wedding. :lmao:

Anyway, I love your itinerary. I think you will both have so much, and it'll be a wonderful, romantic, relaxing trip. I can't wait to read about it!:goodvibes

That travel agent is just horrible! :headache: Like so many other Lapuettes that have volunteered their services, I will gladly help you plan any Disney vacations from now on!

Your itinerary looks great -- I can't wait to hear about the Boardwalk, Food and Wine, and all the other fun stuff that you have planned!

Okay, seriously... my jaw dropped open that your TA would just dismiss the ME stuff because it's "just luggage tags".

HOW RUDE! (NoMichelleTanner)

I think my next trip may be for christmas lights in 2010... but we haven't decided yet!

I can't wait to tell you all about it!
