Prayers for you, Cinderella!
As for the pie, YES!! Pumpkin is a must, but I make it with egg nog instead of evaporated milk. Yum!
I also make a pecan pie that is to die for! My BIL requested it as his "last meal" before he had gastric bypass surgery.
Our family has Pie Night the night before Thanksgiving, where we all bring pies of all flavors and varieties, and indulge in small slices of them before we stuff ourselves with turkey, etc. Last year we had over 30 different pies! Can't wait for it this year!!!

. I LOVE anything pumpkin ~ cake, muffins, my DD's pumpkin roll, cookies, cheesecake, soup, and even coffee creamer
! For the holiday we even treat ourselves to pumpkin pancakes, love IHOPS!!

. I was admitted to the hospital in 06 the day before Thanksgiving and stayed in ICU for 2 weeks, It was hard not being able to share TGD with my family ( I still remember it like yesterday). Sending hugs and prayers your way!
