Pumbaa, You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet! {A March 2012 PTR}

Well hello there, and welcome to my very first PTR! I'm quite new here, and I'm hoping that writing this PTR (and TR to follow) will help me to get to know people better. First off, let me introduce myself really quick. I'm Dayna, 20 years old from Ontario, Canada. I was bit by the Disney bug at the age of 3, and I've been obsessed ever since. Back in August of 2009, I applied for a program called the CRP (Cultural Representative Program) which gives people from the different pavilions around World Showcase to work for a year at their home country. I was accepted, and went down in July of 2010 (I was on a waiting list for six months before being offered the job!) After the most incredible, amazing, fantastic year of my life, I returned home to Canada. Now, I'm doing a course to become a travel agent, and trying to fuel my Disney obsession by being here on the DISboards. So, that's my story.

As for this Disney vacation, it happened quite nicely, actually. My grandma rents a condo early February, and stays there until March. She offered for my Dad, my Mom and I to go and visit. We agreed. My mom and I were sneakily planning to go to WDW (obviously ... when we're that close, there's NO way we're NOT going!) So, my mom and I began to plan. We decided to go to Disney before we go to the condo, and also sneak a one night stay in before we head home. (We're bad, we know!) Anyways, after a couple months of planning, we have everything all figured out. Here is our itinerary, likely to change, as my mom seems to rearrange everything last second.

Day Four: March 4th 2012 Wake up early (what else is new???) Head over to Epcot. Squeeze in a quick meet and greet with Stitch. Get our Soarin' on. Do Living With The Land. Do The Seas, Imagination! and Captain EO. Eat lunch with the fishes at 11:35 AM @ Coral Reef. Head to World Showcase. Bug, I mean see, my friends/managers from my program in Canada. Shop for rings in Mexico. Pig out on caramel in Germany (if time permits) Do Spaceship Earth. Head out. Meet Dad at hotel. Hang out. Mom and I head to MK for EMH. Once we're tired, head back to hotel. Sleep.

In between these days, we're at the condo. Not too sure about details/what not, so I'll leave this blank for now. I'll try and update with information as I become aware of it. ~~

Day Five: March 9th 2012 Head back to Disney from the condo @ approx. 12:30 or so. Check into Contemporary. Get a wicked theme park view room. Relax. Shop. Head to the monorail to get to The Polynesian. Check in for reservation for 'Ohana @ 5:45 PM. Stuff our faces. Head back to room and catch Wishes ... from the balcony! Sleep.

Day Six: March 10th 2012 (Our Last Day, Nooooo!!!!) Wake up early. Head to Polynesian for breakfast reservation at Kona Cafe @ 9:00 AM Go back to the hotel. Do last minute shopping. Pack. Head to airport. Head home. Bawl eyes out.

Alright, well that's it! I'll do more thorough introductions tomorrow. Hope you enjoy this first part of my PTR! I'm really looking forward to seeing all of your comments ... and everyone commenting will make me SUPER excited for March!

I'm going to try and make this PTR as fun as possible, throwing in some trivia questions here or there, or even a favorite picture of mine. I want everyone to enjoy themselves while reading my PTR~

^ Decided to put this here, because it won't fit in my signature. But, seriously, this vacation is coming SO fast! I've been reminding my friends working at Disney that it's getting closer, and they seem excited to see me (they probably think I'm crazy too, LOL. :rotfl: ) I've been listening to Disney music all day, thinking about watching the castle show, or sitting in the lion section at FOTLK, or bawling my eyes out at Wishes. I am SO looking forward to just relax at Disney. Cannot wait!

P.S. Started my 30 day WDW challenge on Facebook. Pretty amazing. My friends probably think I am nuts, LOL. But, this'll give me a chance to let my inner Disney shine through. ::MickeyMo
