Pull Out Sofa

You know Poly has the murphy bed. I found it comfortable, but I only slept on it for one night. Beats a foldout sofa in my opinion.
I know what you mean about wishing your Mom could join you. My mother passed 1 year ago yesterday. I never could talk her into coming to WDW with me. Just one of many things I am still sad about.

Both of us are pretty large so I don't think the murphy bed will work for us.

I took my mom to Disney World for New Years Eve and unfortunately we were only able to stay off site. When we were there she loved seeing the Poly and I told her that I would make sure I brought her back to stay in there someday. We had a great New Years Eve and I loved spending time with her there. She passed away 3 months later 15 days after her birthday. We know she will be there with us in spirit.

Studios at PVB, VGF, BWV, BCV and VWL (aka BRV) do. SSR, OKW, BLT, CCV and AKV studios do not.

Thanks! We are looking at booking a studio for our next trip but were hesitant cause of the sofa beds. I am thinking the murphy would be more like a regular bed. Both of us our pooh sized and sofa beds are generally a no go. I wish I could find some updated pictures. Most places are still showing the regular sofa beds.

The ones I listed are the single murphy bed that is under the TV. They are essentially a bunk bed size so smaller than a twin size bed. I'm 5'5" and have slept on the one at VGF but it didn't really allow me to stretch at all without having the pillow go off the end or my feet went off the end. I'm not a skinny one by any means and it worked. There's not much room on either side though. I know some dimensions have been posted for them somewhere.

I have always forgotten to ask about an egg crate mattress topper for the sofa bed but was going to do that the next time we needed it somewhere and the murphy bed wouldn't work. Also was looking at a feather bed topper that could be packed and brought along. It would be nice if they would put in some better sleeper sofas - I'm pretty sure they are out there!

Yes, there is not really room for tossing & turning in your sleep, haha. But they are cute, and easy to pull out & put back, and don't take up half the room like the sofa beds.
