pull behind flatbed trailer??

Can anyone tell me if there will be room on a tent camp site to park a pull behind flatbed trailer? We want to bring our flatbed trailer to put our bikes on. We will also have 2 vehicles there also. Do they have a locked parking lot for things like extra vehicles or trailers?

Depends on how big the trailer is. I would just leave it locked to the vehicle and park in the overflow lot up front.

No locked lot, but you can leave extra vehicles and trailers in overflow out by the Outpost. Just be sure to get extra parking passes when you check in.

Agree with PP that safest thing for the trailer is to leave it locked to the spare vehicle. They've been switching up access to the Fort lately trying to make overflow and things in general more "secure" but not sure how successful they're going to be.

Well I'm not sure what to do.....Our truck is pulling the flatbed and we want the truck to stay at the campsite because it has a camper over the bed. I wanted to put things in the back of camper/bed part of the truck because I can lock it up. Like our little fridge, crockpot and microwave. Maybe my sister in law will leave her car in the over flow...... Oh...well if I do use my truck/camper part the flat bed trailer will have to be unhitched and parked beside our truck. We might not be able to take the flatbed trailer

How big is the trailer? If it is not too big you maybe able to push it to the back of your site, behind your tent.

For what it's worth, there was a family who had their trailer behind their site last weekend. They had an inside of loop site in loop 2000 and I saw their trailer parked behind their tent pad my entire stay. I don't know if it's allowed or it was allowed to slide. I'm leaning towards it being allowed to slide. We had two cars parked on our site whenever we were 'home' and no one came by to say anything to us.

Park the trailer in the Front lot and lock it to a tree or fence post. There are lots of places like that in the front lot.

Level it on your sight and put the tent on it.

Prevailing wisdom at the Fort these days seems to be "if you can squeeze it on your site, we don't care"

Saving that, I'm with Carol's suggestion of locking it to a fence/post/tree up front.

I don't think they say anything as long as what all is on your site fits & is not on any of the grass, against the shrubs, etc..

A couple of trips ago,they put me on a too small site, and I had one of my truck tires partially on the grass. They left a note requesting I move the truck off the grass (which I don't blame them & should have noticed I had done it).

I know when I used to use a tow dolly, I always pushed it to the rear of my site & no one bothered me about it.
