Pudge Controls the Weather-A Land and Sea TR Apr 6-Apr 15 ( Last Day new 5/26)

I'm so jealous that you guys are so close to book that kind of a weekend. All we have here is Wisconsin Dells. :rotfl:

You get fat licking stamps too!? :rotfl2: Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I did start using the MyfitnessPal app and website though and it's been incredibly easy so far. Lost 12 pounds so far. Not that you can tell. :lmao:

Good job for your DD with the trivia! You have trained her well.

I love the cheesecake at WPE. I used to like the creme brulee, but then I ate the cheesecake and it was all over.

I have seen people on the DIS fly down for quick weekend. I figure they are just rich though. We are fortunate to be relatively close, but far enough away that we can't go too much. Wait .... is that possible ???

Fat loves me. It clings to me. I try to change our relationship, but it refuses to let go. Good for you on the 12 pounds though. I have that app. It's a good app. Know what else is cool app ?? The Disney Dining app. You can out in your ADR ressies and there they are right on your phone when you need to remember what time. Also, the Disney Gift card app. Coolest app ever !!

I was surprised at how much she knows. I mean she just knew all of the answers. She's my girl !!!

Yes. That cheesecake is good. Not as good as the S'more's cheesecake at WCC, but still very good. They discontinued that S'more's cheesecake durn it!!

Yay for booking a weekend trip in June!!! How fun!! :cool1:

Your meal at WPE looks great! The weather really does look like it was gorgeous for you guys!!! Good work, Pudge! :thumbsup2

Yes, it is something fun to look forward to.

We just love WPE. Best use of counter service credits - EVER !!

Look at your DD winning contests! Way to go!!!

Those wineglasses are so adorable. Sounds like a nice evening for sure. :)

C'mon Susan, get on the ship already!

I'm dying to re-live my cruise through your extensive photos! (like I'm any better, with 679 photos in my Disney 2012 set on Flickr)...

PS - MY TR is 99% done, all that's left is my "closing arguements" - my to-do list for next time...

One more day to get through before we board the boat. :cool1: I have to extend my Disney magic !! I have been over to read yours !! I will stop back by and make some more comments. AND I need to scroll through your Flickr as well.

Agreed! It's absolutely ridiculous up there now.

Hey now! We all agree that WDW is the best place ever! But no fair comparing the Dells to Disney :rotfl: I live 30 minutes away and love having so many fun things to do so close to home.

Also, congrats on your June trip! I wish we lived close enough for a quick trip to FL, too - I am SO jealous. I'm really enjoying your TR so far. I'm surprising DD7 with a girls trip in June from the 7th to the 17th. It will be her second trip and she says all the time that she wishes we could go back.

Happy May Day!

I've been dying to go to LTT. I'm just afraid DD won't eat anything there. We are big WPE fans too. We go pretty much every trip. I haven't tried the meatloaf yet. I sure looks good. I'll have to have and adult buddy with me to attempt it.

Next time we see y'all you need to have DS explain the virtues of the midday nap to my DD. As you know we aren't big on the midday breaks, but I'm trying. However when it is hot and humid, we take them because it makes for a miserable day if you push through. DD, of course, likes to swim. Personally, I'd just like to lie down and rest. Way to go to your DD on winning Disney trivia! Next time we are there together, we need to plan on taking all the kids to the dance party at DTD one evening. Lots of fun!

:welcome: Thanks for stopping by. We are excited about June and getting some time at the water parks. Since we will be there at the same time, if you see us, please say hello !! How exciting for you to have a surprise trip. A girls trip. How fun !!

LTT was good. Surely they have something your DD would like. Yes, we love WPE and the meatloaf is really good. I definitely could not eat it all by myself.

We sometimes take a nap, but not always. When we go back to the resort to swim, I just rest in a lounger by the pool while the kids swim. I get in to cool off if I need to, but mostly I rest as much as possible.

Would love to do the dance party with you guys sometime.

subbing! Great report! Love the photos! And love that there are LOTS of them!!!! My favorite part of TR's is seeing all the great photos!

About that disney dining app - is it the Disney World dining app with a plate and fork/knife or is it the WDW Dining Planner - purple with fork knife, and coffee cup. I found both those on the app store. Curious which you used and if you liked it! Thanks!

:welcome: Thanks so much for taking the time to say hello !! I won't bother with a trip report unless it has a bunch of photos. And it a dining review does not have photos. I don't bother.

That is the exact app I am talking about. Love it !! You can put your dining reservations in there and it has menus for all of the restaurants. It is one of the best Disney apps around for sure. I highly recommend.

Day 4 – Part One

We got up around 6:45 AM, and headed out in the car. There was some debate on whether or not we should take the bus again, but at the last minute we opted for the car knowing that if we got there early enough, we would be parking within walking distance to the entrance and not have to wait on the tram. On the way out of AKL, we saw several hot air balloons in an open field and we stopped to watch them a bit.

We got to Hollywood Studios about 7:45 AM. EMH was at 8:00 AM this morning so we were in good shape.

DSC02367.jpg

The entrance was crowded and they let us in about 7:55 AM.

DSC02370.jpg

Of course we headed over to TSM, but since they didn’t do a “rope drop” the melee wasn’t as bad as I’ve seen it in the past. And when we got there, the wait said 5 min. True story. I even have a photo.

DSC02371.jpg

Snapped it as we were walking through. I mean who knew that the sign even went that low. We waited about 10 minutes, but still a fun ride and we were open for fast passes right away.

The kids were excited. We all love this ride.

So we headed over towards RNR to get fast passes for me and DS.

DH waited while DS rode single rider. He said he walked right on.

In the meantime, DD and I stopped to get us some breakfast since we had some CS credits to burn.

DSC02385.jpg

The service here was slow. Maybe they were short handed, but they could have used an extra person helping out.

I got DD a cinnamon roll which she ended up sharing with DS because it was huge.

DSC02386.jpg

I got DH and I some egg and cheese English muffins. One with sausage and one with bacon.

DSC02387.jpg

These were actually pretty good. Also, we got some much needed coffee.

DSC02388.jpg

And we went into the Villains store that has all of the vinylmations. The kids were into trading, but not buying anything which was fine with me.

DSC02389.jpg

After breakfast, DS and I rode RNR with our fast passes. And DH and DD went over to ride Star Tours. I gave him the camera to take photos.

Day 4 – Part Two

After they rode Star Tours, apparently they moved on to the Streets of America

And then on to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground.

Some more photos DH took of the area.

And we met up with them in the gift shop there and DH wanted to do the Back Lot Tour. And since there wasn’t a wait, we agreed.

How awesome that yall got to see those hot air balloons! I am so fascinated by those things.

Hahha, yeah, I thought the lowest wait time for TSM was like 30 at least. :rotfl:
