I'm wondering if I can bring a puddle jumper for my son?

This is straight from the DCL website...

•Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices (PFDs) and flotation sewn into the bathing suit for safety. However, recreational floating devices such as floats, rafts and fun noodles cannot be brought on board and are not permitted in the pools or on Castaway Cay.

This is a puddle jumper...

I would really like to hear from someone who has taken one aboard and if they had any issues.

TIA!!!

Looks quite like water wings as we call them in Canada. On the Wonder last week, I had seen wing wearers! They are light enough to pack, so if not allowed what harm to carry. . .

My son, then 4, has worn his on two seperate cruises and there was never a problem. One afternoon we floated in the Goofy pool and watched all of the movie Cars on the Funnelvision.

A puddle jumper is a coast guard approved device. It states this on the inside of the device.

My son used his puddle jumper on the Dream in the pools and in the ocean on Castaway with no problem at all. I had planed on showing the coast guard approved message on the inside if questioned but never had an issue.

Great! Thank you!

A friend is going to loan us some for DS, but I didn't want to take them if we couldn't use them.

The description shows its Coast Guard Approved, so this is fine.

We call them puddle jumpers in Canada too. They are relatively new here, maybe they haven't made it to your area yet. It is their name brand though. My son has one and I told him he couldn't bring it. There were tons of kids on our cruise with them on, he was pretty mad at me that we didn't have his!! We were flying though, so probably wouldn't have brought it even if we knew we could!'

Walmart.ca has them, so does Canadian Tire! I just checked on these for DD!
