Pudding Question

Do you like the film that forms on top of a bowl of pudding as it cools? If not, how do you prevent it?

Personally I love it! I think it tastes good and is my favorite part of the pudding.

Am I the only weird one?

If you don't want it there, place plastic wrap over the very top of the pudding.

I just leave it though, doesn't bother me. =)

Puddin skin! As long as it doesn't come out in one huge thick hunk (week old or better) I likz it!

My husband and I were just talking about this! He likes the skin and I don't. So on the rare time I make pudding, I don't use plastic wrap so he can have the skin.

I'm too lazy to make anything other than instant pudding. So I never have that problem. But what I do like is the little tiny pockets of unmixed (I told you I was lazy!) pudding powder in my pudding. Yummy.

I love it! I was surprised to learn years ago that other people don;t like it.

I remember my brothers and I sliding our spoons under it to eat the pudding underneath, leaving the skin for last. Best part!

Not only do I NOT like pudding skin, it totally skeeves me out! Ick! I haven't made pudding in years though.

I love the skin! mmm...sooo good. but you can put plastic wrap over the pudding to prevent it, for those who don't care for it.

If you are out of plastic wrap, then just sprinkle a little sugar over the hot pudding this works too.
