Hi just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a fmily orientated pub/restaurant near Dover?

Ideally we'd love somewhere with a play area, preferably outside (Im praying its sunny) that is secure and safe for 2 children and a toddler. We dont mind travelling 30 minutes around Dover as we are planning on spending the day there! It would be nice to enjoy a nice glass of wine with the OH whilst looking forward to travelling the next day.

Thankyou!

Theres a nice table table pub right on the Dover seafront - its attached to the Premier Inn hotel which was a great place to stay before getting the ferry the day after!

Hi,

We are staying in the Dover Premier Inn so this may be our best option. Thankyou. Hopefully we will get some peace and quiet whilst the boys watch the boats coming and go-ing!

We'll probably try and tire them out on the beach and park in the afternoon and head here for an early night! I suppose I better pre book a table lol!

:thumbsup2

Sorry, another question for anyone who has been down that way or lives there... Breakfast is from 6:30am however we have to be checked in for the ferry at 7:05. If we have the car all ready to go how realistically will we be able to grab breakfast and get to the chek in desk in 35 minutes? And would the staff possibly allow us to grab a bag of pastries and fruit to take with us as we may only just have time to eat the hot breakfast.

I may call them later to confirm but thought Id ask here first!

What one in Dover are you staying at? there are 2 one near the Eastern docks & the top of the road leading to the Eastern docks? You will be fine grabbing breakfast to go & then check in. Having said that you could be slightly later then the 30 mins check in as they take ages to load the ferry unless its quiet.

As mentioned you will be better off eating at the restaurant you are staying at or go the other Premier inn restaurant as the other one has a Brewers Fayre. TBH there aren't many restaurants in Dover along with there isn't much to really do in Dover either. It has been on the decline for years.
