Anyone know if Publix is open on New Years Day?

Don't really know. We've been there 3-different New Years but I don't think we've ever tried to go shopping on the 1st.

You might try their web site at Publix.com to see what's listed. I do know from there you can send them an E-mail with questions, so you could ask them directly if it's not listed somewhere else on their site.

Publix is really good about getting back to you. I am pretty sure I asked about all of the locations around WDW and they even sent me directions to the closest one as well as telling me about the others around.
