Hi!

I recently was at Disney and used Lynx (Orlando's public transportation system). I had a great experience. Has anyone else used it? I had to get to the Amtrak station in Orlando without a car and didn't want to pay for a taxi. It worked great.

Let me know where else people have traveled using Lnyx. It was so cheap! $2 and I think I might use it more.

I used it when I was an international CM there. It all depends on where you're going from and where you're going to. Using the public bus in Orlando can be very time consuming depending on where you're going.

Like when I was going from the Orlando Premium Outlet malls to Florida mall, the bus would take over an hour, while driving would take 15-20 minutes. Another time when I was trying to find a public bus to a hotel a friend was staying at, I would've had to change buses 4 times for a distance that would take 10 mins to drive!

If I remember correctly though, lynxs has an online route planner, so you can just plot in where you're traveling to and from and it'll tell you the route.

The trolley is even cheaper (don't remember what it's called, it's something like the I-drive trolley). I would take that from the outlet mall to Universal, and that wasn't too bad.

Great! Thanks for your response. I'm from a city so public transportation is all I use, but I thought that Orlando's might be a bit slower. Thanks for your insight!
