I suppose thats a matter of opinion - purely from the angle that - after all it's Disneyland - there are going to be families out that with young children who are going to find that 30 minutes a bit of a struggle, especially the return journey when it's cold, dark and you've x number of tired children......
Yes this is a matter of opinion. And it won't be easy to have a 30 minutes walk with two cold children in the evening back to the hotel. But at least you are there.
Imagine you are in the middle of Paris/CDG/Orly with two children a stroller and a lot of big bags. And then the RER/Metro is only running every 30 minutes and 400 other people want to get into the same already stuffed RER/Metro with you. And you won't have a chance to get in with 2 children a stroller and a lot of bags. And you see no way how you can get to DLRP in the next 8 hours.
And then your children will ask the whole time: "But you promised we would go to Mickey today!"
If I had to choose between these two scenarios I would definitely take the one with the 30 minutes walk and the tired children.
