That could be a very LONG time from now. You do realize there are over 1 billion people in China alone? Even if not entirely the target market, that is still a huge number of people.

That’s ok I can wait. We will eventually make it over there. I have a long list of travel destinations. We loved Japan so we may end up on their new ship first depending on the itineraries.
I had zero interest in it as I wasn’t flying from the US to Singapore to try a new ship out…..but we have other travel planned that includes a layover in Singapore, so why not? I’m loving it’s DCL but new and different aspect, as well as diversified menus. Here’s hoping it’s going to be great!
I would love to get on a cruise, but I'd have to already be in Singapore to consider it. That will probably happen one day, so I'll eventually go on it, but no plans to book it soon.
Definitely different but interesting - going on B2B on concierge In July/August. Taking two weeks and doing it between visits to HKDL and Shanghai DL to justify the 24+ hour trip from the East Coast
It wont, cruises to no where are popular with a local market, which in this case are China and Japan. This ship is for the local market, not for Americans who want to see the region. Its the same reason why Disney have switched to short cruises out of Southampton in August, as the majority of passengers are UK people who stay on the ship in the ports.
While the ship may remain in Asia long term, Disney is known for moving ships to different ports over the years. So it is not unreasonable to think that the Adventure could move at some point to a Japanese port, for example, where it might be more convenient for Canadian and United States passengers to sail. I don’t believe it will happen any time soon but eventually it will, just as ships that sailed the Caribbean moved to the UK and Mediterranean markets and were replaced at the Caribbean ports with other ships. Moving ships around every so often keeps the product fresh without investing additional capital.
As far as my opinion of the Adventure, I like it. For a cruise to nowhere I would like the option of having an inward facing balcony for people watching while I relax. I am looking forward to reading and watching more reviews.
