PTR :Our first trip to Disneyland...(if you don't count 1982/1979 as kids trips)

Hi Karen,

The guy behind you in your picture has an LA Galaxy top on - were you at a game?

There is a game between LA and the NY Red Bulls while we are in NYC - DH, DS and DD are planning to make the trek to New Jersey for it - the only trek that I plan to make that day is to 5th Avenue for some fabulous window shopping!!

yep, we always try to catch a game when we go in sept/oct..the DH has it on his must do list everytime we go.....the games are great..even I enjoy them.

so ran thru the details with DH in reagrds to what we are doing..he does like to know we have a structure, then it just goes out the window when we get there

still havent told him re the VIP pick up from lax...fingers crossed i keep my mouth shut and let him be surprised....

so itin is:

feb 1 syd-lax with qantas, then check in for 8 glorious nights using our DVC points at Grand Californian hotel/ villas....will get groceries delivered that arvo..parks are open late so hopefully after a nanna nap we can go the parks til midnight.

feb 2...disneyland guided tour & DL/CA

feb 3...superbowl..crowd levels will be at their peak...so DTD and the parks

feb 4...hired a car to go shopping at santa ana westfield...thank God we are taking 4 bags to go with the 12 parcels I have already had shipped to the hotel

feb 5...Seaworld...then DTD, but hes not too keen on sitting around waiting for shows, so may have to rethink that..oh and also the 4 hrs in a bus...

feb 6 ...DL/CA

feb 7...universal..then DTD

feb 8..DL/CA

feb 9...check out of GCH and check into Sheraton at lax for the day...flight 10pm home

so ordered my $$$ from Australia post today, $1.01 exchange rate..not too shabby I guess....

I had a trip planned for similar dates you'd be there, kicking myself I missed my own deal! Had $1100 for flights but ended up cancelling it - will go in July instead (ehhh the crowds...thank God I'll be 21 by then and can survive by some similar drinks to the ones you'll be downing on your trip)
