PTR May 2009 for our 3rd Anniversary. We're home and want to go back! :(

Bummer about Brad having to work on Easter. What's up with that!?!:confused3

I didn't have any trouble with my ADR's either! When I called at 90 days I was able to get all of the ADR's I wanted and the times I wanted. All of our dinner ADR's are between 6 & 7:30pm, so prime dinner time. I was even able to get into CRT for b-fast 76 days out and I called last week and got into Crystal Palace for an 8:10am ADR. I'm not worried about the crowds. I think it may be a little busier than usual, but not enough to ruin my vacation!:thumbsup2

It's getting sooooo close...I can't wait!

I know. It makes me so sad that he is working. He said that he would go in super early like at 3 am to see if he could get his orders done by 11 am when we have to leave but I just think it's not worth it because he still won't probably make it back in time. I have to go too because I told my great aunt back in January that I hoped they were having Easter this year because I missed everybody and I want them to see Tyson. Her daughter Sandra, my moms cousin and good friend, said that she came home and told her little ole Brandi wants to come to Easter this year. Are you having it? LOL So I have to go. Plus my grandmama is looking so forward to all of us being together. This was tradition for alot of my upper childhood/teen years. For the past 5 years (since I've been with Brad) Brad and I have gone to his parents house. LOL She sure was surprised two nights ago when she called and found out we're not coming. Brad was suppose to tell her last week. :confused3 NOT my problem.

OH get this! She told Brad tonight that she wanted us to take care of his brother (13) next Saturday. Brad said ok. She then said "He can just sleep on the couch." :scared1: Brad said "What? Where are ya'll going and when will you be back?" They are going to work a dinner auction thing and will be back at midnight. He told her he has to work the next day and she said he could just drop him off at the house when he leaves for work around 6 am. He said "Well, I don't know. I'll have to talk to Brandi." LOL my baby is finally learning that he has to talk to me about stuff like this. He told me that he knows that I could have even agreed tonight to do it and then come next weekend be ticked off and ruin our weekend. It's so true! I'll try to be nice but then the more I think about it the more I get ticked. Here's the thing, there are two other siblings who could watch him that are not married and have no kids. One is a musician and one's a spoiled princess so they can't do it. Here's the reasons why the answer is no:
A. We have a child who goes to bed around 10. Brad's bro will not go to sleep at that time which means the tv will be on and I can hear that from our bedroom. The bedroom door connects to the living room.
B. We have a one bedroom apt. and only one bathroom.
C. We have an extremely uncomfortable leather couch for him to sleep on. The center seat is higher because we never sit on it which equals a sore back in the morning.
D. Brad has to work!
E. Tyson will never go to sleep knowing his buddy is in the living room.

So I have to break that to her tomorrow when we visit. Brad's ticked at her.:goodvibes (Secret smile)

I'm with you on the UG stuff its making me nervous!!

We're doing a split stay, the first part at WL the second part at AKL!

I looked at your PTR! Wow you are an awesome daughter. The video made me cry. I love their reactions. Have you stayed at WL before? I've always wondered if I would like it.

I looked at my reservations and when I added that I don't want a roll in tub (often get this because we request king bed) the CM took off my request for Arusha savanna! I'm ticked. That's extremely important. I want zebras! Anyway I have to call tomorrow. Oh well, at least I saw it.

Good night!

Wow sorry about Brad having to work on Easter. Jason is going to work on the house, but that is by choice. I called and made the photo session at AKL for 8:30 am on Monday. Hopefully they turn out cute! At least we won't have to travel to another location to get them taken and the kids do better first thing in the morning. Enjoy your Easter time with Tyson!!!

Ugh... your MIL!:scared1:

I'm glad Brad is starting to understand that you are a team and his mom is manipulative!

Your plans look great!

Thanks! Now I have to figure out the rides I want to get done each day.

Have a great Easter!

The plans look great. Oh and :thumbsup2 on MIL.

Thanks! I'm just trying to stand up for my family more and not let her walk all over us. Oh she's also trying to convince us to send him to preschool next year. There is no reason for preschool if I'm home. We work on stuff everyday. I mean I'm a certified teacher for crying out loud. I know how to work with him. She'd be his teacher so that's why she is pushing it again.

Have a great Easter!!

Brad's going to get up around 3 am and try to get everything done and be home by 11. I'm praying he can do it and that he doesn't fall asleep at the wheel. It's worrying me. Sorry Jason's got to work on the house but I know that you'll be happy when it's all done. How's it going?

I think that the photo session will be loads of fun! Let's pray for awesome weather that day. Beautiful blue skies.

I hope your family has a great Easter too!

Well, Brad is definitely catching on. He's always found her unfair in her behavior but never really took up for us. He's coming around. It makes me feel so much better knowing he backs me up.

I hope ya'll have a great Easter!

So I talked to Brad again today about staying at Nan's. We decided against it because we will actually get to check in later by staying with her, which means less of a possibility that I get the requests I want, which are a king bed, a room with an arusha savanna view, no roll in shower, and the third or fourth floor. That's the order of importance too. I am thinking of bringing the baby tub again this year just in case we have to be in a room with a roll in shower. Tyson can take a shower but we would end up getting soaked too so one of us would have to take the shower with him. Last year we brought the tub knowing this would happen. He might be way to big for it now. I'll have to check. The floor isn't extremely important but I'd like to be high enough to view the whole savanna.

If we spend the night, there is no way we would be at breakfast at 9. So we would probably be at breakfast by 10 and then be at AKL by 11 or 12 to check in. I would have to repack my stuff after getting ready and also repack the car because we have to remove everything when we got there the night before. I don't want the car broken into. We actually would spend about the same amount of time with Nan each way because we'll go to sleep when we get there.

So here's the new plan...until I change it again.....no I'm not changing LOL this has to be the way we do it.

Brad wants to leave at 2 am. He needs to be in bed by 7 to get enough sleep. I'm going to keep Tyson busy until he's ready to go to bed. I'll already have the luggage packed and we'll put everything in the car that night. Once Tyson is asleep, which will be between 10 and 12, I'll either lay down for an hour or just go ahead and get ready. Brad will probably take a shower when he gets up so I'll wake him up around 1:20 and just stay with Tyson. Tyson is getting a bath before he goes to bed. I'm getting PJs that are fine for him to wear in the car. That way I can just change his diaper and go. LOL We'll wake him up last minute. We will try our best to not make any stops until sunrise. It's dangerous stopping anywhere that late at night. We feel that it might be safe enough to go to the bathroom at the FL welcome center. It'll probably be 5 or 6 am when we reach it. I think I can make it 3 hours. LOL We will get to AKL around 8 or 9. After checking in, we'll either go to our room if it's ready or give them our bags and go have breakfast with Nan. If our room is ready, we'll bring everything up then go see Nan. Whenever we get back we will go to Epcot if Tyson doesn't take a nap. If he is tired, we'll go after he wakes up. I'll probably take a nap too. Then we'll go to CM that night.

I know that it sounds like I'll be exhausted but I'll be fine. Last year, I stayed up all night, we got to WDW around 6, ate and then went to MK EMH until almost 2. We slept late the next day and I was fine. This time we have a 7:40 ADR at Boma for breakfast the next day. But if we got to bed around 9 on May 9 I think we will be fine. There's no EMH to go to and all the parks will be closed after we finish dinner at CM. I'll have to get up around 6:20 to be at Boma by 7:40. So that's about 9 hours if we are asleep by 9:30.

What do ya'll think?

I'm exhausted just thinking about it!!:rotfl:

Actually, the plan sounds great, but I know what you mean about not being tired! When you're at Disney, there is no time for sleep!!:cloud9:

I think the plan sounds great! As for the WL, i have stayed there before and I love it! It's my favorite WDW hotel :)

Bummer Brad had to work today. Did you guys have a nice Easter though?
Your first day plans look good to me. Although, i'm a first timer, so what do I know.:rolleyes1
I do love thinking about our travel day. We are going to be so excited!!

Hope you had a good Easter. Glad to hear Brad is supoorting you in regards to his family.
I think the plan is good as long as you are ok with the lack of sleep. Probably be to excited anyway!

Yeah, after reading it again, it does sound exhausting. LOL but this is just what i do. It really wouldn't be a vacation if I didn't stay up all night the night before. My mom and I stayed up before every vacation. I would just help her get packed. I guess we are too excited to sleep.

Maybe we'll stay at WL next time.

Brad is calling his mom today to tell her we aren't watching little bro.

Yep, I'll be too excited to sleep.

I am glad you had a good Easter. What did the Easter Bunny bring for Tyson? He is such a cutie. Did all go well with the MIL? She just doesn't appreciate a good daughter-in-law. When I watch Everybody Loves Raymond, it brings Dale's mom to my mind because Raymond's mom treats his wife like my MIL treats me..............:lmao:

What cute pictures. Tyson got enough goodies in his baskets to have plenty to take on the Disney trip.

Tyson is such a cutie! He's getting soooo big! It looks like you had a great Easter! Emily has some of the Mini Cars too! She LOVES them!

Hi!! I just found your PTR!!! You guys leave so soon YAY! We leave in 19 days ahhh!

I just have to tell you this...I love your wedding gown! I remember that dress. When I was 16 I fell in love with it and swore it would be my wedding gown lol! It wasn't but I still love it.

Happy belated Easter! The Easter egg hunt looks like fun!

Too cute. Can you believe 25 days and we will be checking in...hope we run into each other at AKL. I finally found my camera from Austins bday but now I can't find my cables. Ugh!
