Here's pictures of the craft project I did with the park maps and times guides that Scrappie-Do mailed to me after her trip.
I decorated a plastic tote to keep all of my Disney planning stuff in. That's my trip binder in there.
I put a border of Mickey Mouse scrapbook paper around the top and bottom because the width of the maps wasn't big enough.
Then I glued (and double sided taped because the tote is plastic) the maps on.
Because of the odd shape of the box top I couldn't use the waterpark or DtD maps (believe me I tried!) I used scrapbook stickers for the top instead.
I've done some other boxes that I thought you'd like to see. I usually use cardboard type storage boxes because they take the decoupage glue really well. (I had to use a plastic tote for the planning materials because I couldn't find anything else that was big enough)
Here's the one that I keep all my Disney photo albums, autograph books and press penny book in.
Here's the one I did for our Hawaiian Honeymoon. Along with the photo album, it holds black sand and other treasures from the trip. I used scrapbook paper and stickers for this as well.
This is the first one I did. It's Liam's baby box. It holds all those special things from the first year of his life. I use the wrapping paper from my baby shower (and other gifts) for the covering.
I have a huge fabric covered box that I used for all my wedding stuff...it lives under my bed. Once we do the addition to our house and I get my office off the master bedroom I'll have shelves built to put all the boxes on so they are displayed. At least that's the plan right now

and I have no room for vacation boxes. Sigh.
Just one little spark......
on the room discount and how it worked out so well for you guys....I'm gonna need you to hold my hand when we getting ready to book the next one and walk thru your tricks...we could use a little savings....
I'm making a spot in my scraproom to keep all the Diseny trip stuff more organized, a covered bin or box is so great. I have an old Crate & Barrel box covered w/ wedding wrapping paper that holds all our memorbillia from the big day, I since wrapped in plastic wrap to protect the paper from all the moves...

For the new UG!!
