I have been following the Disboards for a while now, but somehow missed that there was this awesome forum for pre trip reports! This is so exciting because for a while now I've been collecting little odds and ends for my trip, with no one to share in my excitement!!

I hope you all follow along and enjoy my little findings and share in my excitement as I prepare for what I have deemed #Disney2016

I have been very fortunate to go to Disney several times in my life! However, I have never been able to go as an adult! I will be going on this trip with my boyfriend, who has never been to Disney or Universal before! Despite him being so excited for the trip, he is having a hard time grasping how truly magical Disney is! I told him, once he's there, he'll understand what everyone means when they say it is the most "magical place on earth!"

I knew I wanted to take a trip to Disney about two years ago. I knew I didn't have the money to go right away, but that I would like to start savings towards that, so I started a My Disney Savings Account. I started by doing 10, every week/every other week sometimes, I wasn't super strict.

As I was saving I began to read Disney blogs, which really helped me realize how much I didn't know about Disney. This was humbling as I thought I knew so much already!

One of my favorite blogs is http://wdwprepschool.com/ this blog has a wealth of information and a lot of amazing printables! They also have Members Only page, which I am apart of, which gets you access to awesome planning tools, forums, etc. This blog lead me to my amazing travel agent Cheryl with Key to the World Travel (http://www.keytotheworldtravel.com/)!

I sent in a quote request and she responded back asking about what I was interested in doing on the trip, what dates I wanted to go, which resorts I liked, etc.

499 days out we booked our package and had a long wait until the 180 day mark began! In the mean time I've been picking up little odds and ends so that I'm not scrambling to buy everything right before the trip!

To begin this exciting planning process I printed these sheets from http://wdwprepschool.com/



These are so helpful to help break it down day by day on what you would like to do! Once I had completed mine I emailed them to my travel agent so she could look them over and make any suggestions!

Next we sat down and made our wish list of things we wanted and a 100 day count down calendar!



The only thing we haven't been able to cross off our list yet is the dessert cruise, which the dates for November haven't been released yet!

Next I began shopping for little odd and ends, here are some of the items I've boughten so far:



This is a Jackery charger! I read about these on another forum on the Disboards, and everyone swore by it! So I bought the gold one!



I bought myself a gold ipod touch! I told myself I would need it for the plane ride and a back up for pictures....



These are luggage tags that I ordered from Zazzle when they were having a sale!



I kept debating between these two backpacks, but after consulting my facebook friends, I purchase the princess one!



I bought these two shirts from the Disney store app! I was a little disappointed as they didn't fit quite right, but I still decided to keep them!



This is my boyfriend and I trying on our new Incredible shirts I ordered for us off of Amazon!



This is an Inside Out shirt I ordered off of Amazon! Inside Out is one of my favorite Disney/Pixar movies!



These are tank tops I ordered off of Etsy from BellaDesignsStl! I am obsessed with these!



I LOVED these shirts on Etsy designed by HeavenlyDazedTyeDye! I loved them so much I ended up ordering two more for the each of us!



We bought our luggage! This luggage is Walt Disney World Authorized, so we thought it was perfect!



This is the white 9" vinylmation I bought new off of Ebay because I couldn't find one anywhere else! We are going to get autographs on this!

This is the limited edition Finding Dory Magic band I was able to get! There was only 3500 made! My boyfriend got a Stitch Magic band!

Joining! Our trip overlaps yours for a couple days-we're there the 19th through the 26th doing a split between BCV and CSR. I think we'll even be in the same park a couple says I love all your shirts, too! I wear tons of Disney shirts when down there and I also make DH wear them lol. Older DS is pretty much over wearing Disney shirts but everyone has agreed to wear maching ones at least once for this trip so pretty soon I'll be looking to Etsy to order some.

Sapphire Falls looks so awesome! We stayed at Pop Century last year on our first trip. You have so many delicious reservations! I've always wanted to go for my birthday, but it's at the end of June so instead we're going for my boyfriend's birthday in December. We're also going to MVMCP!


I love planning and Disney research too. I made a binder the first time we went, but I kept changing things so much that I just keep it on the computer now.

Once you see all the cute shirts and mouse ears on Etsy there's no coming back. I keep telling myself I'll just get this one, and then I see another that I have to have. They have so much stuff. I keep finding new shops through Instagram too. Hot Topic also has so much Disney merchandise.

Pop Century was defintely very affordable. Actually we got a really got discount at CBR for our next trip in September.

Thank you! We're going on two trips this year and I'm so excited. Our December one is going to be the longer of the two. I probably should stop buying shirts too but then I see another cute one
