Which would have lower crowds for PTN(i.e better chance to see in a decent location w/o as long of a wait): a Sunday night, 2nd show (10:45ish) OR a Tues/Wed. night with only 1 show (8pm)?

For the Sunday night option, we will also be coming from F! and fireworks at ROA (which should end around 10). Not sure that's even enough time, but I don't know how busy the 2nd show is.

This is for mid/late Sept. The schedule isn't out yet, so I'm basing this off of the early Sept. schedule, assuming it will be similar.

We watched PTN on Thursday, July 9th. We hopped over to DL after our Carthay dinner and found a spot to stand directly behind a bench in Town Square 30 minutes before the 11:00 (2nd) parade was set to begin. Others begin filling in spaces around us up until parade start time.

From RoA, if you head towards Town Square, walk through the stores on the right hand side of Main Street to avoid the crowd on the sidewalk. I believe the 2nd parade is still much better than attempting to find a spot when there is only one parade scheduled. We saw people sitting on the curb at 6:00p in anticipation of the 1st parade.

We did The 2nd PTN Sunday July 12. We saw WOC at DCA, shopped a bit at both DCA and DL and then grabbed a prime spot on Main Street 2nd row 20 minutes before the parade. There was a ton of room when we got our spot too. The Cms come by and instruct the front row to remain seated on the curb and the 2nd row to stand, so we had a terrific view. People were waiting for hours for the earlier parade. I would say the 2nd is your best bet. But if you are going to be in DL both nights anyway you might want to start with your earlier night. The parade is fantastic. We watched most of it again the next night and some of it again the night after that!

Thanks! Our first night is a Sunday, so we'll try to head to PTN right after F! and fireworks at RoA. If it's crazy busy, we can always try to get there earlier on a weeknight. I would really love to get it done the first night, so the rest of our nights are more open. Your experience is encouraging. I'm so excited to see it!

Great! I will definitely plan to use the store route. Thanks for the tip!
