Pssst! Will someone do me a favor, please.

I want to come to chat tonight, but if I try and reply my computer shuts down. I'm wondering if it's Aol doing it. I need to figure out why it does that, but I won't have time to investigate it before chat. If I come tonight will and it still won't let me replay,will someone please tell people that I'm not ignoring them. I really want to see what is going on.

Dayna! Maybe we should all trade our computers for smoke signs. At least they don't have them nasty virus. What kind of chat program do you have? Maybe someone from Dis tech board could help you too.

I do believe it's AOL Dayna. I could never chat when I had AOL.

When you log in, do you use HTML? I would try that first. If it doesn't work, then I have NO idea...sorry.

But yes, we'll make sure to say that you're not being stuck-up and snotty and 'higher than thou'

Livia, I think you're right. I'm going to have to send my messages via carrier pigeon. I'm glad I don't have a virus. I hope yours is fixed. I haven't played around with chat very much. I can't get logged in with i-Chat, but then it kicks me off if I reply. I hope it works tonight. I think I will take the next Instructional Chat class.


Tia, I will try the HTML. I also have a cable account. Maybe I can use that without Aol.

I am another AOL user that can't get into CHAT.

Yikes I wish I had seen this last night. If you have AOL, you have to sign on to AOL, and then minimize the AOL(not close, just minimize it),and then open up your IE(Internet Explorer). Then go to chat and it should be ok. Sorry!

Miss Glo, Thanks so much. I did what Tia said (which is what you confirmed) and got into chat with my cable connection. It worked perfect. I had fun chatting. I think I'll come next time we talk about the Dis-Con.

Sorry I didn't notice it earlier...I think that I heard that Wednesday nite chat will be Dis Con chat til Dis Con...but please ask Marsha as I have been known to be wrong before....lol..WEll, not very often am I wrong, but I would check just in case!
