Pssssst.. Do you think Disney even knows?

I'm not saying either side is wrong. Or that either side is right. And yes, there appear to be 'sides'. However, for those of us who have gone to Disney longer than some have been on the planet, an old saying comes to mind. There are none so blind as those who will not see. Then again, you could say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally have seen little things disappear here and there. Kept thinking each time that it was no big deal. That it wasn't a major part of the experience. Those little things have begun to add up. :faint:

Exactly.

I think the "magic" is what you make it. If you're convinced you're going to have a bad trip.. You probably will.
As for me, I can't wait for our Sept. trip :) Nothing will spoil the magic for us pixiedust:

Totally agree!! Only 75 more days and we are there and we cannot wait!!

Oh No! I think I may have taken all the magic for myself! I didn't mean to! I promise I will share! :bitelip:
We always have a super magical time. Even when something happens that I am sure will "ruin" the trip (like the monorail closing at the Poly during the day) we make the most of it and always have a fantastic time. I haven't noticed the lack in quality or the CM's not being attentive(overall). I always hate to hear that someone had a bad trip. I hope everyone finds what they are looking for whether it be at WDW or some other destination that makes them happy.

The magic is still alive for my family.

Also, if your business is increasing every year, then I would say that no, there is not a strong indicator that Disney believes that the magic is gone, or that most people who keep coming back think so. Or else they wouldn't keep coming back.

That the Magic is gone?

I don't know who is to blame, but WDW is a mess. Sure they will still be getting crowds, but the newcomers will be less repeaters, and the long timers know how bad it has become.

Psssst. The magic is still there. pixiedust:

Has anyone read numbers for domestic visitors? I know that it really doesn't matter to Disney since it's money regardless, but I do wonder if the numbers are going up from U.S. visitors. Given the current economy, it seems less likely, but I could be wrong.

Any info?

I don't know the numbers, but I think that's why WDW doesn't care about new attractions. It's all new if it's your first trip from this country or another. Much cheaper to go find those customers.

My husband travels to Brazil for business quite often on TAM, two flights each way, and he said there are commercials for WDW on the inflight entertainment at the beginning of almost every flight.
