DS will be taking his PSP to use on the plane and through the holiday. Do you think we should invest in another battery for it and would it be cheaper getting from internet/store here or should we wait until we are in Florida and get one there?

If it was me I'd get one from the internet here. AFAIK, the batteries should all be the same but I'd rather play safe than sorry.

I'd get one over the net here as well. :)

I've just done a quick search on Google and it looks like you can get a standard 1800 battery for £10.99 or a high capacity 3600 battery for about £15.

You can probably get the best deal from one of the Hong Kong traders on Ebay.

I got stung once years ago when I bought my first GBA Flashcart (they used to be a lot more expensive), but a replacement battery is not going to be more expensive than the £18 threshold I wouldnt have thought....in fact I just had a look and they are generaly less than a tenner.

DH bought his psp in Virgin at DTD last trip - we bought a power brick instead of a spare battery, you can charge it up and then you just plug it into the psp and it holds twice as much charge as a battery. I think it cost about £10.
