PSP ( i'm counting on you guys LOL)

Trying to convince your parents is the hardest thing ever! I told my mom that the PSP costed 279.00 CDN and she said WHOA! You better ask dad and bradley first. It's my hard earned birthday money.

Can you help me conivnce my mom? What do you think of a PSP?

You should get one.
Because it's not normal. You can play games on it, listen to music, watch movies, etc. it's like having a million things in this tiny thing. totally worth it, instead of paying a lot more money on an mp3 player, a nintendo DS, a portable DVD player. it's a good deal.

I wouldn't buy one. Seeing as how PSP movie sales are slow, movie producers have stopped making movies for it. The loading time for games is outrageous on it. The only good thing I can think about it is it's MP3 function, but yet again it's not the best MP3 player out there.

Major gaming websites say the only advantage of the PSP are its multimedia functions, which even then are not that great. For the MP3 portion, you have to go buy so many memory cards. It is a jack of all trades, but master of none. Almost everyone I know that has a PSP have very little games for it. And as Munky said, the UMD's for Movies have fallen harder than King Kong. I personally would recommend a Nintendo DS or a Lite, but it all depends on what kind of games you like. What do you like btw? And since it is made by Sony, it is not quite so reliable if you were to drop it. Scratch that, if you drop it, you better make sure that warranty is still in place.

I agree with what the others said. DUN DUN DUNNNNNN It's not worth it. I never thought it would be. I have a DS myself, so I'm suggesting buying that instead. But that's my opinion.

It doesn't even matter anyways anymore. My mom said no and even though, my dad said yes she said no and she won. Then she went to the mall to buy clothes while I sat there reading

Well what type of games do you like. I mean, you said you already have an ipod, and while not the greatest MP3 player, it is better than PSP's. I am asking in case you get some money down the road.
