psp holiday bundle advice

Well, after all that stress about worrying if I would be able to get the psp holiday bundle (with little big planet, karate kid movie and memory card) for DS12, I got it Thanksgiving morning on amazon for $129.99 plus a $15 video game credit. I was so happy and relieved!

Then when I happened to mention to my mom that I got it, she stated she had already bought him the psp madden 11 bundle (that she told me she was not going to get him). She made it clear she is not returning hers, so what to do with mine?

I could just return it or I could sell it on craigslist or ebay (never sold on ebay before). If I do sell it, should I sell the complete bundle - or do you think I could just sell the psp and memory card together and keep little big planet and the karate kid? I know DS would enjoy those. I already bought a different memory card and a couple other games.

Please help me with some opinions and advice. Thank you!!

hmmm that's a tough one.... little big planet is a really fun game! And if you sell it by itself, you may be able to make more money as the PSP by itself costs more - however, you will not have the 'regular' box, so someone may feel ripped off.

Tough one. I'd try to sell it, or perhaps, another family member would like it and you can sell it to them for their kids?

It's funny cause my friend and her DH went to Black Friday (I live up here in Canada) and I begged them to get me the PSP bundle with Little Big Planet cause I wanted to get BF and PSP.... and I was so anxious and wondered if they'd get their hands on one. Turns out they did without a problem.... and now the bundle is onsale up here at Best Buy.... so I really didn't have to get it from the U.S.!!

I think you have to sell it as a whole bundle otherwise it is basically used since the box doesn't match. If you want the Little Big Planet game you can get it for about $18-20 it looks like. Karate Kid will be harder because it doesn't look like it is sold individually so your only bet will be if people Ebay their copies. There is one on there now, I think it was going for around $20 with shipping added in.

There are a few bundles on Ebay right now with bids in the $150s (didn't look at shipping). So it really comes down to how badly do you want the Karate Kid movie. If you don't, I would sell the bundle you bought for $150ish on Ebay and buy a copy of Little Big Planet (if you want it). Basically the $15 video game credit you have makes that almost a wash, you will end up making $20-30. You can also save yourself the headache and shoot an email out to friends to see if anyone wants it for $150ish. It is currently selling for $200 new on Amazon or $150ish new on Ebay. They don't need to know what you bought it for. They are still getting a good deal.
