For the love of Pete (yes my iron, I so love it)

I lost many many favorites when my puter went wild last month and I just found that I have lost the link to the gal who made the fabulous PSE tutorial.
I am trying to use a photo frame that a designer made and put my own picture in it then save it as my own jpg to add into my family movie. I am soooooo not smart at PSE 4.0 or any photo computer thing. All I want to do is learn to put my pics in (layer) with the cool frames .

Does anyone have the link? Any idea how to make this easier? Do I need to save my picutre as something else to use it?
I have read the manuel and so don't understand. I just want to add some cool extra's to our movie.

Thank you for any and all help.

In case you didn't see this on the other thread. Let me know if this works. if not, you can e-mail me the frame & pic & I will work on it in my PSE & then give you more detailed directions.

you will not see both pics (frame & photo) in the layer pallet until you actually move the picture onto the frame or vice versa. With that said, open both the picture & the frame so they are both showing on the work area. Highlight the frame (just click on it), then go to image on your toolbar & click on mode. Change it to RGB. repeat this step for the picture as well. Both frame & picture have to be in RGB mode in order to be moved onto each other. once they are both in RGB mode and the picture is moved onto the frame or vice versa, you should see them both in your layer pallet. Then double click (in the layer pallet) the one that says background & rename it to layer 0. then you can tweak the frame & picture, meaning you can stretch it or make it smaller.

If you move the picture on top of the frame, and need to get it behind the frame, highlight the photo in the layer pallet, then click on layer on the toolbar, go down to arrange & click on move to back.

Hope this helped.
