I am trying to surprise my DH with a Playstation 3 for his birthday. Does anyone know where I can find a good deal? I think it might be Amazon, but it takes 2-4 weeks for shipping and I was hoping to get it pretty quickly. TIA.

Newegg has it in stock for the same price as Amazon, except with $12 for shipping instead of Amazon's free shipping.

I think the prices are about the same at most places. I'd just purchase it locally to save on shipping.

I'd say buy it where you can find it. We don't have any in stock around here anyway.

Bestbuy shows it online and says it leaves the warehouse in 1 day.

Thank you for your help. We were able to snag one by ordering off the Best Buy website, it is scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday. I thought since the PS3 has been out for a few years that it would be easy to find.

DH got his/ours at Costco... it was maybe $20 more ($320) and came with a remote and a game (that he played, actually, for quite a while).
