PS3 experts ????

hi there ..
just making up my shopping list for the weekend and am trying to get some gifts out of the way..... 2 families I am buying for have newly acquired PS3 console from the last month or so...

Besides buying them PS3 games.. what accessories (add-ons) are good for them ?? since i don't know a PS3 and has never played on one... don't know what accessories would be great to have .......

Headphones-
Warhawk (the game) comes with the headset. And I am sure there are others that come with a headset. Or you can just buy a wireless headset.

Another option I am not sure if they have added yet- would be playstation points. In a nutshell it's just like a debit card to allow you to buy maps ect. online for games you have. But I don't know if they have added that as a "card" feature yet or not. I know we had to give our credit card info on the system last time. Check out Target-

I bought my dh the blueray handcock movie that came with a ps3 remote control for the dvd part of ps3. it was 29.00 at walmart, so its like buying one thing and getting the other free. what a keyboard that attaches to a controller.

If they have a hi-def tv, then the blu-ray remote and/or movie is a good idea.
I guess the remote is still a good idea if they are playing regular dvds through an analog tv.

They have a PS3 specific remote.

I also like the idea of an extra controller. The one with the "rumble" effect.

- Charging station for the controllers (at some point they are bound to have more than one). Like this one
