I love your invitations. Impressions is the only place I've seen them and I'm too nervous from all the stories I've heard to order from them. Roughly how much do they cost?
Well, they are on the pricy side. I paid a little over $300 for 25. I know I am insane.
Here is a general breakdown
Invitations - $153 (I imagine this number doesn't change drastically when you order more invites.)
Ribbon - $19.45
Lined Inner Envelopes - $16
Disney Licensing - $53.55
Shipping - $34.90
Tax $16.94
There was also an assembly fee for adding on the ribbon.
Some tips for anyone looking at buying these
- the licensing fee is a % and not a flat rate
- you can assemble the ribbons yourself
- when paying for assembly you do it per invitation. Say you order 50 but, only need assembly on 38 of them; she will only assemble and charge for 38.
- foil is far more expensive then ink. I was quoted over $1000 for the same invites with the foil.
- also I say call her. She answers her phone more than she emails. Also, she has a lot more than what is on her website. She can pretty much do whatever you want Disneywise.
- Also the shipping can not be dropped if you pick them up directly from her. It is the cost of shipping them to her from the printers and not to you.
Since we are having a small wedding, I didn't want the traditional guestbook, because most of it would be blank. I decided that I would do an interesting scrapbook for my guestbook instead.
I am sending out these cards, and asking guests to fill it with their fav story of us or a wedding wish.

When I get them back I am going to put them in a scrapbook, with each guest having there own page. Then I will add a picture of them at our wedding to that page.

a page of the paper stock
I really wanted it to be on display at the wedding, but realized the envelopes would be in the plastic. I wasn't sure what to do, but then I saw a disbride use a autograph book for the guest book. I think it is perfect, so I am going to steal (oops, I mean borrow.) her idea. I wish I could give credit to the bride, but I forget her name.
Also, I got my unity candle and tapers in.![]()

The tapers are plain, but I think I am going to add crystals to them.
