PS time for CM & Advice

One our arrival night we don't want to use park tickets but would love to start the trip with a Character meal. We thought CM might work since it is on the Monorail and will have Mickey. My question is what time is a good time for CM. Are you able to see any of the fireworks from MK at this restraunt or will it be very crowded if we do it close to MK closing. Just don't know what is a good time to get a PS. Wishes is a 7 I assume since we are going in Feb. (btw, does anyone know how I can find out Feb hours, they aren't on Disney's site yet)



Also, we are a group of 7 but my Grandparents in Laws are coming and we want to take them to Fantasmic. They do not like stuff too fancy or spicy so would you recommend one of the dinner package restraunts and also what is a good time for Fantasmic PS as we would like to see the show at 7pm (agin not sure on the show time, but am assuming it is this time in Feb.)

Wishes can not be viewed directly from Chef Mickey's. You can plan around the fireworks and view them from an observation deck past the shops on the 4th floor. Or even to walk outside to view them.

CM seems to be crowded for dinner from opening 5pm until around 8pm at which time most people don't want to eat later than that. PS is highly recommended.

Fantasmic dinner package I don't have a great recommendation. We tried it with Hollywood & Vine but didn't care for the buffet. This year we are trying Mama Melrose and hoping for much better food.

Just FYI, you don't need a dinner reservation to see Fantasmic. It is included in your admission to the park.

As far as Fantasmic goes, we prefer Brown Derby. We have tried Mama Melroses, but the kids feel they use too many spices in all thier sauces. H & V was okay, it is normal food, not too fancy or spicy, so it might be good for you guys. I am just not that thrilled with buffets. Brown Derby would be fancy if it were anywhere but WDW. This particular Brown Derby is not fancy at all. People come dressed in their normal shorts and T-shirts.
