PS questions?

I have PS's for 7, now 4 of them are hedging on going at all, can I make another PS at the aproximate same time, at the same restraunt under the same name without canceling the prior PS?

I did that last fall, we didn't know if grandma was going or not. I had DH make the new ones in his name, and cancelled the original ones as soon as we knew for sure what we needed.
