PS Question...Trail's End

We'll be returning from the Wonder on 10/28 and spending a few days at the World to round out our honeymoon. I'm the type that usually doesn't make PS arrangements, but this time, I've actually made them for Marrakesh and the Cape May Clambake!

My question is...we're going to MNSSHP on Friday night, the 29th, and we've never tried the Trail's End Buffet before. Any thoughts on the buffet? Would it be good to try before the party? And do you guys know if they take PS's there? I'm just thinking it might be crowded before a Friday night MNSSHP!

From everything Ive heard, no they do not take PSs. But the good side is Ive also heard there usually isnt much of a wait.

The cm is spoke with when making my ps's said they do not take ps's.

We've stayed in the campground at the Cabins probably 12 or more times and we eat at Trails End every time we go. We've never had PS (don't know if they take them or not) and we've never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes for a table. We usually go during the summer so it's a busy time of the year.

If there happens to be a short wait, go next door to Crocketts Tavern and get a drink (the tavern and Trails end are in the same building), then go outside, sit in a rocking chair on the porch and enjoy the evening. It's one of the most relaxing ways to spend an evening at WDW I know of.

They don't take PSs, but the longest we've had to wait, this past summer, was around 10 minutes.

IMHO, Trail's End is an overlooked treasure. We're planning to eat there before our MNSSHP event too. I love that Fried Chicken - same as HDDR. We never had to wait long there & have eaten there a dozen times or so over the years.
