PS for Breakfast Table Service Meals

Hi guys - I'm figuring out how to use my dining plan and was just wondering if I need to book priority seating for table service NON-CHARACTER breakfasts, like at Maya Grill or Kona Cafe.

I guess I will do it for peace of mind. Depends upon how flexible you are. My first trip to WDW staying on the resort I made no reservations and was sorry. Waited in some unnecessary lines because of no Priority Seating. If you are flexible and don't mind going elsewhere if someplace is busy then you should be fine, and the nice thing about Kona is that Capt Cooks can be a backup, and at CSR you can skip Maya and hit Pepper Market or drive about 4 minutes to the Swan/Dolphin (or hit the All Stars food courts).

I would go ahead and make ADR's. You can always call and change them to a different time if needed/available. This way, you will at least be guaranteed a table.

It also depend on the size of your party. Since we have a party of 11, a PS was a must for whispering canyon for breakfast on a Saturday.

We are going in July and I made breakfast PS for that trip for WC again.

Maya Grill, probably not. The breakfast is not all that good, if you aren't staying there, don't make a special trip over.

Kona..yes. Breakfast is outstanding, we stop almost every trip.

We had breakfast at Kona Cafe twice during our trip. We did not have a PS either time. Once, we were pretty lucky. I think we got there about 8:30 a.m. and it was packed. But a table had just opened up and we were seated immediately.

The other time, we were there about 7:50 a.m., and we were one of the first people in the restaurant.
