Going in April for the last two weeks, do you think it's necessary to get PS for Biergarten or does this tend to be one of the less popular restaurants?
Thanks!!!!!

I've never eaten there but DH and I plan on trying it in June....I think if you know you want to eat somehwere it's always safer to get a PS.....have a great trip :)

DH and I have eaten there, WE LOVED IT!!! We are bringing our girls back this year!!

BE SAFE!!! Make the PS!!

Many times during the off season who just walked into Biergarten for lunch with no problem..however..in a more crowded season I highly recommend a PS. We tried to walk into Biergarten just two weeks ago for lunch and it was an hour wait with no PS. Called that day and got a PS for the next day with no problem, so I recommend you call for a PS if you surely want to get in there.... :sunny:

We tried to walk in at 2:00 in October for a late lunch and faced a 30 minute wait. Inside the restaurant was empty - but it was staffed for "low seasons non mealtimes" which means even though there were plenty of tables, we saw a total of four CMs in the whole place!

I just made PS's for our arrival day (Apr. 17th) at 6:30pm to make sure that we have no issues eating at one of our favorite places at EPCOT.

If you are planning on going to WDW during a busy week (kids here are off from school for spring break this week) I would plan on making PS's rather than being told that you can be seated at 9:30 pm.

We went in February when the park was mobbed with superbowl people -- we made a ps for 5:30 at about 2 PM that same day. So for us it worked to make it when we were wandering around the world showcase. The other advantage was that the hostess was able to tell us when the dinnershows were and we picked our dinner time based on that. Our girls (2 & 7) absolutely loved it.

Last time we ate at Biergarten we had a PS for 11:30. Just before I arrived at the podium, a CM stepped up there and said she had a party of 25 (a tour group). They sat them 1st and everyone else had to wait to be seated. It was only a 20 minute wait, but I'm sure it pushed everybody else back 20 minutes or so.

We went last June--what I would've thought would be a terribly crowded time--and at 1 pm, they took us right in with no PS. We ended up sitting at one of two full tables--the rest of the place was completely empty. I felt bad for the performers, but we had a great time! Food was SO good, in fact, that we're going back this June. Just to make sure, though, we made a PS this time. Doesn't hurt to go ahead and make one, and if we decide to eat earlier than the PS, we'll just drop by and see if we can. A great experience--in my DH's words, "Just so much fun!"
