PS bus runs????

Hi,

Ok just checking in again with Tyler. The last few days I have been making the last of my PS for breakfasts in MK. Each day that I called they had no problem with telling me that there was a bus running at 7:00am for my 9:00am Priority Seatings, of course this was good news, until today when I made my last PS for the MK breakfast, they said that this was a misinformation and that the buses do not start until 8:00 and they gave me a 9:15am for Crystal Palace and said I would need that long to get there because those who gave me my 9:00 PS prior to this date were wrong, she apologized for the error but said this service has been discontinued. None of the PS for bkft are on early entry days.

One last ok from you and I will disregard this statement. If they should make a change between now and Nov.11th that there is a change in bus runs and they will no longer run buses at 7- 7:15 you would let us know, that is a silly question, of course you would keep us informed.

I have said this before, and pulled my hair out. And I will say it again, and pull what remaining hair I have left out. Central Reservations is has NO CLUE what they're talking about when they give you transportation information. I always tell people... never trust transportation information unless it comes from someone wearing purple pants. Sounds silly, but it's true.

NEVER FEAR... Buses DO start running for breakfasts. They are just no longer labeled as Character Breakfast buses.

I can guarantee you this, because I've had to wake up at the crack of dawn to be in and make my first run at 7:00am to the parks.

One word of caution though. The first dispatch goes out around 7:00. Actual arrival times may vary, depending on what stop you are at. Also, many of the pre-8:00am routes are "Pre-Scripted." This means that they are not dynamically dispatched, but rather when a driver is assigned thier bus, they're also given a first run. When a driver gets thier bus, they have to do a pre-trip inspection to make sure everything is fully functional. If a driver finds something that needs to be adjusted or fixed prior to the run, they have to take it to maintenance first. Usually the Dispatcher will throw in a substitute bus, but sometimes there might not be enough time, and so that particular bus might be a bit late.

Chances are that won't happen, but it's not impossible.



I personally wouldn't make any PS prior to 8:00... but other than that, you will be fine. Don't let Central Reservations worry you. Enjoy your breakfasts.

Hi Tyler,

I knew that you would come thru for us again. I should have known better than to listen to dining. I also knew that if there was a change that you would have informed us on this board.

I really appreciate your encouragement and it does give me peace of mind that there is someone like you on this board to tell it like it is. Is there a way that word could be given to those in charge that this is what is being told to guests calling in for PS? It may be a so on and so on type thing but this can and will deter many making PS for a theme park and maybe even cause them to change their minds with this info going out. There must be a way to clear this up within the ranks.

Thank you so much I know I have no reason to worry, and it will not ruin my breakfasts. We can always count on Tyler to steer us right.

You are being kind, Tyler. I would have omitted the "when they give you transportation information" part so it would have read:

"Central Reservations has NO CLUE what they're talking about "
