Your best place to start is to find out what time the fireworks are on and go from there :)

Hollywood & Vine usually only release "early" times for Fantasmic initially - for example the latest I could get a week or two ago for the time you are going to be there  was 4.00pm.

I worked around the park hours for mine, a couple of my ressies I could not get for the exact time I wanted which really surprised me so far in advance. I did still get the venue at a similar time, just not my first choice.

Don't forgot you can book via DVC Member Services on the Freephone number Debby :)

i know i rang this afternoon and they said fantasmic packages were only available up to 4 will they release later times towards the dates, very strange
we have always gone later is this a new thing esp as the date we were going there would be 2 fantasmics,
also very difficult to get a five table for lecellier in the 2nd week i allways thought this was the quietest time of the two weeks
tonys stop serving at 5.45 whilst mk closs at 10.00, we gave disney a miss last year but things do seem to have changed the cast member commented on how late we wanted to eat at 8pm!!!

I think we Brits are strange Debby, I like to eat at 7.30 or 8 and all the CMs kept saying "are you sure you want to eat this late? Especially with children?" But to me this is as early as I want to wat when I'm on holiday!! To be honest I would eat even later but it's not practical at WDW is it?

The Fantasmic thing is really odd, they always do that but then release the later dates nearer the time.

Hi Lenny,

I call 001 407 WDW DINE which in UK speak is 001 407 393 3463 most restaurants can be reserved 90 days before you want to eat there (apologies if you already know this)

Cheers

Karen

miffy do you think tony's might bump up their closing time or is this a definite time of 5.45?

I like your choices. Check the times for Wishes to get the best ressie for the fireworks. Illuminations is always at 9:00 (unless I;ve missed something.) Therefore, a 7:00 pm dinner would get you out around 8:00 to find a nice spot to see the "works."

Hollywood/Vine and Tony's - these would not be my pics, but the menus and chefs may have gotten better. We do counter service at MGM because of the lack of great food options. Or if a non-Fantasmic night, we head to Spoodles at Boardwalk.

Good list.
