you can go gsp south & get on nj turnpike at the turnpike's exit 11 or gsp to route 3 east bound to turnpike's exit 16w and take the turnike the whole length of the state

This is a very easy way. We always use it to avoid the horrible traffic at the merge area before you get to the GW bridge.

we always take 95 to 287 to the tappen zee bridge to garden state parkway to nj turnpike.

84 thru CT, then go across (684?) the Tappan Zee Bridge, Garden Parkway, NJ turnpike. The tappan zee bridge has a toll only in one direction.
