Tomorrow is the Spring concert at youngest DS's grade school. He is in his first year band (5th grade). He is playing a solo. What is remarkable is that he started with the trumpet and switched instruments in the middle of the first grading period. I have been taking him to a private tutor on Thursday evenings and it was the tutor who suggested we switch to the trombone, mainly because DS was getting braces in January and the tutor thought it would be easier for him to play. So tomorrow Alex will be playing a German Folk Song on his trombone.
