Does anyone know the best thing to do to protect your ticket from getting demagnetized? We had several problems last year, getting fast passes, getting into the park, etc. apparently from our cell phones. Any ideas?
TIA,
Susan
I carry ours on a lanyard around my neck--we use them at work for our ID's. Perfect size for the tickets and they're not with anything else so they don't get demagnetized. I just tuck the lanyard under my shirt after we're done with the tickets so I don't worry about losing them.
I know that your supposed to keep them away from Credit cards and other things that can demagnitze them. I dont know if you have a dollar store around you but they have these little plastic type holders that you would find in a wallet type of thing, like what you would put your pictures in... they sell a few of them for a buck. They also have those little snap wallets that you can find... They arent big or bulky or anything like that and they work well.
Really? I kept all our stuff (id, kttw, cc, etc.) in one of those plastic pouches on our last trip. We didnt have a problem with anything, but I will be more careful this trip. Thanks!
I keep ours in a zipper type coin purse with nothing in there but our tickets.
I took the wrist band off of an old camera and looped one end through the zipper on the coin purse and one end through a side buckel on my messenger bag. When I'm in need of my ticket for any reason, I just reach in my bag, grab the cord and pull my tickets out!
I hope that doesn't sound confusing. Any kind of cord would work: a rubber band, a piece of ribbon....
