I'm now starting to get serious about booking for next year so I would appreciate some advise.

In the past we have always gone end September/early October and found the crowds small and the weather good.

Next year we have to go April,May or June.

We have no experience of those months and would appreciate some pro's and con's from those of you who have visted then.

Thank You

Dave

We've been all of the times you mentioned and there's no way that April, May or June will match the small September crowds.

However, of the 3 months you mention, I would guess that the end of April/early to mid May would be your best bet.
Early April can run into Easter holidays and late May has the very busy American Memorial Day weekend which overflows into the following week.
And June, though not as busy as July, is already starting to get the kids who in some states of the US are already on vacation.

So if it were me, I'd go with early May. Definitely avoid Memorial Day weekend (the end of May).

I agree with Beth, late April early May is one of the best times to go.

Good combination of nice weather and fairly low crowds.

The 1st time we ever went was in April, managing to fly back on the Thursday before good Friday, the crowds were quiet, when we look back on our video it looks like we have Epcot to ourselves :goodvibes , the weather was lovely in the day but cool in the evenings. Since then our trips have been at the End of May through to June, the parks are much busier but managable especially if you get there early, weather's much hotter very humid, we always seem to get quite a bit of rain along with the afternoon thunderstorms!, but we don't let it ruin anything we're on holiday and it soon clear's up.
Happy Planning :goodvibes

Thanks for comments folks.

Sounds like two of the first three weeks of May is the best time for us.

On our 1st visit we went the end of May beg of June as they are school holidays here. We had lovely weather & the crowds didn't seem too bad, better than Late August which is all I can compare it with.

The middle Sat of our hols was the main day of the unofficial Gay week. There was nothing to bother or offend us but it did affect crowd levels especially on that Sat in Magic Kingdom.

Hi

We went in May for 7 nights the week before the UK children broke up. The first few days it was not too bad, towards the end of the week it got busier. Throughout the week the numbers were increasing the brits were flying out for thier two weeks. The weather was hot 34-36c when we were there. It rained for one day for about 20mins. In general I felt it was average. I have never personally been at quiet times in WDW. We went for the last week in June for two weeks. It was very busy. Heaving in fact. Some days it was so bad we went to our hotel. Bearing in mind we were only 17 when we went our first holiday on our own. It was surreal to us all the crowds. The wost for us was the last week in July and the first two weeks in August.

I loved October. The crowds were bearable. It did increase at the weekends, which is expected. This year we chose November. Thinking it will be quiet. Well no we are going at Thanksgiving. :confused3 Why we do this is beyond me. We can only go on certain dates of the month.

Oh I loved the Flower Festival in Epcot in May. It really made Epcot look beautiful.
