My daughter just turned 3, but our AP's don't expire until May. I hate to buy her one and then we will always be off. Can you buy prorated AP's? Or what is the cheapest ticket option for her on this visit? We are just going for a short weekend, but will probably be back again before May. It's not worth paying for an entire AP but more than just a day pass too. Help!! We've never bought tickets, we've always had AP's.

I would check out AAA and get her the longest available pass (like a 6 or 7 day hopper) that will cover both trips if possible. THey'll have cheaper tickets than buying them at Disney, and if you just get one 6 day pass and you're there for two 3 days trips, you'd save money over buying 2 separate passes. If the total days from this trip and your other trip before May is over 7 days, then the AP would be the cheapest option.

this happened to us we thought we would hate it but we love it it seems like we save money (even though we don't ) this is what we did... we bought our sons pass in deember when he turned 3 then when ours expired in april we renewed hubby, mine, and other sons pass then in dember we only renew sons so it is less of a chunk of money at once kinda spread out a little.. it is no hassle as we just do it by mail.
