Props for photo shoot?

We are having a Boardwalk photo shoot during the morning of our wedding.

I wondered what sort of props would be a nice touch for some of our photos. It's a December wedding. We are planning on bringing our bride and groom ears, but not sure what else.

I am like you and I am a S/D VR bride and having a shoot before the ceremony at the Boardwalk. I intend to buy this parasol which I think will be lovely for photos and also useful for walking to and from the Swan and the Boardwalk as (hopefully) the sun will be shining!! I also intend to take sunglasses. Mine are a pair of Jimmy Choo sunglasses which I love and bought on Ebay a while back. I am such a poser!!!
For the pictures Randy will take in the room getting ready, I intend to have accessories, perfume, rings, shoes, and a copy of our invitation ready in case he wishes to shoot them. I am also thinking of taking my black and white plush Minnie and Mickey (Steamboat Willie style) and put wedding ears on them for photos. It seems increasingly difficult to get wedding ears at the moment though so we will have to see

Haven't bought it yet - I think DD is buying it for me for Christmas Here is a website which has it but if you Google 'Giselle Bridal Parasol' there are quite a few others!!! HTH

Continuing the umbrella theme, here is mine that I've just received:

I didn't really want something else (besides my bouquet) to carry around, but I have to avoid sun exposure due to a medication I take, so it was kind of a necessity if I wanted photos on the beach. And I was thrilled to find such a cute one!

I also got a parasol (well actually they sent me two for some reason?) to use for our photos, It was super cheap and I figured it would add some variety to our shots. Here it is:

I LOVE parasols! Luna Bazaar has some really pretty ones. I bought some really gorgeous ones to use on wedding day and then left them in the hotel room ... so upsetting!

Our engagement pictures were taken at the WL and the Poly. We just brought sunglasses with us but when we got to the Poly there were leis laying around and we took two and used them.

Thank you for sharing these and please keep them coming! I love the sunglasses ideas, but it's a December wedding and I know it will be sunny but.....

I'll have to check out that website with the parasols. If we did a monogrammed parasol, do I do my initials or just my married last name initial? I'm now thinking maybe I will try to get a parasol that says our last name on it (i.e. "The McDonalds")

I love the balloons idea! Did they buy the balloons on the Boardwalk? I'd love a picture of us letting the balloons go as well!

What about something that relfects your interests? Like, is your DF really into football? Or Star Wars?

If you're big Disney fans, you can do mouse ears. I believe Lurkyloo gave her guests ears as favors and has a picture of everyone at the wedding in their ears.

Do you know her username and/or where her photo shoot was done? I'm getting really excited about the balloons idea, just not sure where we would get the balloons before the shoot!

My BMs carried parasols, we used them in the photos after the ceremony. I copied Carrie and used Mickey Ears as favors. For our MK photoshoot I had Mickey Ears that said Bride and Groom. I also ordered some things on a stick from Etsy, like silly mustaches and glasses for during the reception, but it also came with a I heart U and we used that during the photoshoot as well. I had a whole bag of props during the shoot.
