Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I thought this thread may be appropriate! I'm planning on proposing to my lovely DGf on my next WDW trip in May. I also want to make sure she gets special treatment wherever she goes. I have a few ideas about the proposal, but as for the whole week, does anybody have suggestions as to how to make this week the most amazing she's ever had?

I can almost guarantee you that it doesn't matter what you do. She will be absolutely thrilled just to be with you!

Just take some time with her to be alone. Go down the path that connects Toontown and tomorrowland.

Go to Animal Kingdom Lodge and look at the animals from some of the more secluded spots.

Have dinner at Artist Point.

Just focus on being together and it'll be wonderful!

I didn't propose at WDW, but we did honeymoon there. And it was fantastic. The only "thing" we really did was an Illuminations Cruise. But besides that - it was the best trip we've ever taken together because we were just focused on one another. :)

How wonderful and romantic! What a Prince Charming you must be! If it were me, I would just want to go through the week without feeling rushed. That sort of thing can happen to you in a theme park. The best memories at WDW for me are the ones where I've had time to sit and relax and take it all in. What a lucky girl! I hope everything is fantastic for you both!

Now I'm not sure if they still run the proposal packages, I heard they didn't, but that is the first thing I would look into. They my recommendations if you want to go the extra mile is find out what her favorite character is and if it's possible find them and their cast member partner prior to her seeing and ask them to help with a proposal. Another one could be have dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table and propose in the rose garden afterwards, especially if the fireworks are scheduled to go off.
I guess the most important thing is make it something the two of you will never forget. My wife still tells friends and family, even strangers how I proposed at MK in the rose garden during the fireworks, and she still tears up. Other then that don't be afraid to ask a cast member for their advise or their help. They will be more then willing to offer you either.
P.S. If you are staying on site you may want to mention something to the front desk about your plan. I did and they had a cold bottle of champagne and a dozen roses waiting for us when we got back. When she called her parents I went to the front desk and asked how much I owed them and they said it must have been Disney Magic because they didn't know what I was talking about.
Good Luck  :love1: party:
