For those of you have been following the Saga of the Naked Shelties - here is my Levi, fresh from his sheering. No other Shelties were harmed (this time!) Be kind, he thinks he's hot stuff!

He reminds me of the Old English Sheepdog we used to have next door when I was a kid..they shaved him down every summer!

Hes very pretty despite his nakedness!!!

I grew up with shelties - but my mom never had them sheared down that much (only once when one had surgery was he shaved...heheh...i just remember his naked monkey-butt. hehehe)

great dogs though...besides the barking, love them!

So THAT'S what's under those beautiful coats!

He's a cutie with or without hair. And he looks quite pleased with his warm weather 'do!

(I'm still wondering how the owners of the other naked dog reacted. )

I asked the groomer the same question...

The other dog was owned by an older couple who, once they got over the shock , didn't seem too upset. Maybe they will learn to love petting their dog without his silky locks - its kind of like petting a warm tube sock.
