Promotional Tickets

I was looking on the Disney website and I saw they are offering Promotional Park Hopper tixs, but say "Valid June 19, 2011 through October 1, 2011." The small print says "purchased between June 19 through Oct 1" but does this mean they cannot be used AFTER those dates, or just needs to be purchased prior to the 1st of Oct.??

We are there Oct 2-7 (only need to buy 4day park hoppers though)

Can I buy these promotional tickets now? Or do I need to spend more on the regular ticket options?
Or will they put out new offers after the summer? In fall?

Looks like you'll JUST miss the window! The first day of use must be on Oct. 1st at the latest. If you were getting there one day earlier, you would apply. Here's the fine print from the website:

"Ticket valid beginning June 19, 2011 and first day of use must occur on or before October 1, 2011. These tickets expire 13 days after the first day of use or October 14, 2011, whichever occurs first. Each day of use constitutes one full day of use."

I wouldn't worry too much, you have a lot of time for another ticket offer to come out.

I was hoping to get these booked now (so glad that I thought to ask you good people before booking, whew!!).... Really want to be done with the booking/buying aspect of the BIG things regarding the trip...

Any thoughts when the next promotion will come out??

Maybe a month. In the past few years ticket prices went up in early August and fall promotion came out around the same time. We got a ticket price increase in June so I'm hoping we don't get a second increase this year. But the end of summer is when we would see fall deals come out.

LOL!! I want one, too!! We didn't figure out we were going in October until after the recent price increase. I'm not too worried about the tickets, as I can get discounted tickets through the teacher's credit union, but I'm really hoping they offer up some good hotel rates. They have for several years now, but you never know.

BTW, I saw your post on the Halloween party thread and can so relate to the 11-year-old tween thing. My dd dressed as Willy Wonka for another costume event and it was a big hit with her friends (she is also 11). I used one of the top hats they sell at DL (minus the ears), made a cane and used an old velvet jacket I had. We had so much fun with the costume. She had glitter in her pocket and threw some every now and then. Not Disney, but kind of in the same genre!
